Akash Dixit, an Indian national, has been immersed in the world of Yoga from a young age, growing up in the land where Yoga originated. Initially, he approached Yoga as a form of physical exercise but later discovered its profound mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits. His curiosity about the healing power of Yoga inspired him to explore its deeper mysteries.
Akash’s spiritual journey truly began when he left his well-paying job to travel across India, Nepal, and Bhutan, seeking authentic experiences and connections with the region’s spiritual practices. From monks by the sacred rivers to sadhus and local wisdom, this exploration awakened his inner calling to a spiritual path.
His first significant step was Vipassana meditation, which brought him peace and clarity. Akash has since completed several Vipassana courses and expanded his practice by studying Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism at Tushita Retreats. He also explored various spiritual traditions, including dynamic meditation at Osho retreats.
Akash’s dedication to learning led him to one of India’s most authentic Yoga institutes, where he studied classical Hatha Yoga and integrated other Yogic practices, including Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga, and Mantra Yoga. He now shares his knowledge of Yoga Nidra and other Yogic techniques with the world, aiming to help people integrate these practices into modern life.
Akash occasionally leads retreats focused on Yoga Nidra and Yogic philosophy and seeks to connect with others who are passionate about embracing and sharing the Raja Yogic lifestyle.
